Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies, local storage, and related tools used by Loreto Sites and websites published through it.
Last updated: August 17, 2026
1. What these tools do
Cookies are small files that a browser stores. Local storage keeps a value in the browser. Similar tools can help us keep an account safe, remember a choice, measure performance, or understand how a site is used.
Some tools are needed for the Service. Loreto's own site does not show an analytics consent popup. A Customer Site is responsible for notice and choice when its owners add tools that need them.
2. Necessary technologies
Necessary cookies, session values, and local storage support Firebase sign-in, security checks, form protection, fraud prevention, routing, account preferences, dismissible notices, and basic Service operation.
3. Analytics and experiment tools
Loreto's own site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure product use and performance. These tools are not used for advertising or cross-site behavioral advertising. Public-site events may include a site identifier, page path, page title, and the action taken.
Loreto also stores a homepage experiment value in local storage and a cookie when the experiment is active. The key is loreto_homepage_hero_copy_experiment_v1; it stores one of two copy variants, does not store a name or email address, and the cookie lasts for up to one year. The value helps keep a visitor in the same product experience.
Loreto's own site does not show a separate analytics consent popup. Visitors may use browser or provider controls where available. Blocking browser storage may change the experiment or some features, and provider controls may not stop every form of measurement.
Loreto does not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site marketing pixels at this time.
4. Customer Sites and third-party tools
A Customer may add a map, video, calendar, giving tool, form, embed, or other service to a Customer Site. That service may set its own cookies or collect information under its own policy. The Customer is responsible for the notice and choice that its tools require.
5. Your choices
You can change your browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage, but blocking necessary tools may prevent sign-in, forms, or security features from working. Customer Sites may provide their own analytics choices when their owners add third-party tools.
6. Changes and contact
We will update this Policy when the tools or their purposes change and will update the date above.
